The Faculty was founded in 1993.

The Faculty trains specialists for motor-transport enterprises in Ukraine. The graduates of the faculty ensure effective, high-quality and safe operation of automobiles, open pit dump trucks, specialized motor transports, planning, organizing and management of passenger and freight transport on intercity and international routes; loading-unloading operations on motor transport, dispatching of motor transport and a transport-expeditionary service.

At the Faculty, there are two research laboratories: the laboratory of maintenance supplies and the motor-car engines' laboratory where the students and the university teachers are able to carry out research activities.

There have been established the contacts with foreign manufacturers of large dump trucks such as BelAZ, Caterpillar, Komatsu, etc.. The Faculty will extend further development of cooperation with their scientific schools.


209 full-time students and 150 part-time students have been studying at the Faculty. Teaching and educational process at the Faculty is provided by 6 professors, 1 honored coach of Ukraine, 12 associate professors;10 senior lectures, 5 university teachers, 5 assistants, 2 senior assistants, 1 head specialist and 1 engineer.
